One of the most annoying things we all encounter with coffee machines is how annoying it can be to clean them. Well, this machine is firstly dishwasher safe so you can chuck the parts in the dishwasher and clean them automatically, and the removable water tank and drip tray allow for an easy clean!
Another thing we dislike about most coffee makers is the guesswork of the water reservoir, we never know when it’s empty! Well, with the DeLonghi EC860 the water reservoir is clear and easy to see, so you know when it’s time to refill. Despite all these positives about the machine, like everything in life, it has its negatives.
One thing we dislike is that the Delonghi EC860 has quite a small water tank, meaning you do have to refill the machine quite often, which at times can become annoying. Also, we noticed with some types of ground espresso the filter didn’t effectively filter the beans, creating an unpleasant coffee.
