KitchenAid Nespresso Review
When I bought this product, I had high expectations, as this product was highly talked about by the coffee community and had quite a high price tag. So, was it worth it? Yes, every single penny. Let’s get into it.
This KitchenAid is one of the best tasting coffee makers on the market today. It has one of the easiest loading capsules systems on the market today, making it simple and easy to use the capsules to fuel your coffee thirst.
Also, in my kitchen, this coffee maker looked amazing. It has a retro look and looks amazing in it’s all red design. It really does catch the eye of everyone and has an amazing design.
This machine is also so easy to use. Within 30 seconds, the Nespresso KitchenAid will be fully heated and ready to use. This coffee maker also makes amazing tasty coffee and will brew your coffee fast and effectively.
Clean-up is one of the most annoying things when it comes to coffee machines, but luckily this machine makes clean-up easy with a 1.3-liter removable water tank for easy cleaning and easy filling. Also, the cup shelf is adjustable, so I was able to brew much smaller or bigger cups of coffee than other machines are able to brew.
Overall, this is one of the best coffee makers I’ve personally had in my kitchen, and it looks and works great! This would be a great choice for any family looking to purchase a reliable coffee machine!
Nespresso KitchenAid Buyers Guide
Here are all the factors you need to know about before you buy a KitchenAid Nespresso Coffee maker.
Weight
Weight is an important factor if you plan to move around with your coffee maker. If you don’t plan to take your coffee maker around (or your not really a traveler), then weight won’t be a problem. This coffee maker is quite heavy, coming in at around 20 pounds (or 10kg), which makes it quite hard to store in a bag or take it around.

Speed
Everyone wants a coffee maker that is able to make coffee quickly, as we all live busy lives and have no time to waste. Luckily for you, this is one of the fastest coffee machines on the market today.
This coffee maker is able to be heated up and ready to brew coffee within 30 seconds and can brew within 2 minutes, much faster than other coffee makers on the market today.
This makes the KitchenAid Coffee maker perfect for anyone looking to get their coffee quick and easy in a busy lifestyle.
Durability
We do not want a coffee machine that is going to break down or scratch easily. But, the KitchenAid is pretty good, and in the time I was using it, it seemed to have no problems and didn’t break down at all. The durable metals used on the outside keeps the machine safe, allowing it to last longer.
With proper care and maintenance, the Nespresso KitchenAid could last for a long time. Also, no need to stress because if your KitchenAid machine breaks down, KitchenAid provides a two-year warranty from the date of purchase, which will fix up and factory issues.
Brewing Options
When buying a coffee maker, you want to make sure the machine has many different options and is able to brew many different beverages. Luckily, you are able to brew multiple types of beverages with this coffee; this includes coffee, tea, mocha, and more.
Also, this machine is quite similar to many other single-serve coffee makers as it has six programmed settings that are able to brew adjusted to accommodate the flavor of our coffee.
You can set the dial to brew a strongly flavored cup of coffee, or you can brew it to be weaker. All you have to do is adjust the knob. If you are looking for a coffee machine that is able to brew multiple different beverages easily, this is the coffee maker for you!
Water Reservoir
One of the most annoying things that coffee makers can have is a small water reservoir. You see, if a machine has a smaller reservoir, you constantly have to waste time to refill after maybe every three coffees.
Well, Nespresso has thought of this and made the KitchenAid with a 1.3 Liter water reservoir. This allows for you to brew 6+ coffees without having to refill, which can save you valuable time. Also, the water reservoir is easy to remove, so you are able to remove it quite easily, making for an easy clean.
Noise
Sometimes, coffee machine noise can be annoying and loud, especially in the morning. Unfortunately, during my time with this machine, I found it to be quite loud while brewing. This isn’t a ‘quiet’ coffee machine, but luckily it doesn’t take long to brew the coffee. So, if you were looking for a silent or quiet coffee maker, this may not be the coffee maker for you.
Nespresso Capsules
In most coffee machines, you are able to use a variety of coffee capsules allowing you to taste flavors from across the world. Unfortunately, not with the KitchenAid. The KitchenAid is designed to only be used with Nespresso capsules. There are more than 22 of these to choose from, so you can be sure there is a flavor for you.
But, this is a huge negative to the machine as it can be hard if you are already enjoying a certain flavor of coffee, and you have to change. So, if you don’t want to limit yourself to a certain taste of coffee or are already happy with a coffee flavor, don’t purchase this machine, as it will limit you.
Coffee Quality
The most important thing when it comes to the coffee maker is the coffee quality. You want your coffee machine to consistently be brewing up high-quality coffee and not let you down. Luckily, this coffee maker will not let you down when it comes to taste.
This coffee machine is able to brew smooth coffee full or beautiful aroma and flavor. After around 100 coffees with this machine, I have never felt that it produced a lackluster coffee or felt the coffee was bad; they were always full of flavor. But, taste does depend on the person, so it really can differ in opinion.
Should You Buy This Coffee Maker?
So, after all this talk, should you buy the Nespresso KitchenAid. I believe yes, the Nespresso KitchenAid is a high-quality coffee maker and will provide you with a reliable and great tasting coffee.
You just have to be careful, as this machine is not cheap, and can only use Nespresso pods. Other than that, I loved my time with this coffee maker, and I believe you will too.
